Growing Craftier By The Day!

First of all, I would like to state something, for the record and for all to know:
I BLOODY FRACKIN' LOVE
MY SEWING MACHINE!!!!!
(Just in case anyone was wondering)
Now that wedded bliss has set in and I'm no longer "Crazy Lady Trying to Plan Two Weddings," I have a lot of time on my hands!  Here's a bit of what I've been up to lately.

ZOMBIES!!!
Everyone can use a tiny little piece of the undead to brighten their days.

 THROW PILLOWS!
 The boat was Bob's idea.
I'm going to make a few more owls, because they are good for cuddling.

I fell in love with this fabric when I saw it.
This was a bit time consuming, but surprisingly easy to make!
It's my favorite one.

And of course...
MORE SOFTIES!
This horse and the car and caravan are made from fabric that Mom sent me for Christmas.
My friend Esme used to refer to my mom as "The Mother Ship."
(Mother Shippey...get it?)
I made this little owl guy for a coworker's soon-to-be-born baby.
A Dino-sock (yes, made from socks!) and a fleece slug.
Elephant!

And last but not least:
A WHOLE LOTTA HANDBAGS!
I got the basic design from a tutorial I found online:
Easy peasy!

Check out the owl fabric!  I LOVE it!!!!
I like to use light colored fabric for the inside so I can actually see what's in there,
and it makes the pocket fabric stand out.

I also made this one as a birthday present for Sarah T.

So as you can see, I've been very busy!  I'm loving all the inspiration I find online.  There are so many great websites out there for sewing, crafts and softies!

A few favorites at the moment are:

Gotta go, the sewing machine is calling....
